When something has already gone wrong

Incident and injury support

The hour after an incident is when guesswork does the most damage.

A serious injury, a dangerous incident or a near miss puts a small business under two pressures at once: look after the person, and do the legal and insurance steps in the right order. That is hard to invent on the day.

Safety Systems Solved guides you through notification, investigation and return-to-work. We help you respond correctly under pressure — not with theatre, and not by writing a report that blames the last person who touched the job.

Who it is for. Owners and supervisors who need a calm process after an injury, a dangerous incident, or a near miss that could have been worse.

How the work usually runs

  1. 01

Talk through what happened and what has already been done

  2. 02

Help you work out whether the event is notifiable and what evidence to hold

  3. 03

Investigate with the people involved, the scene and the existing procedures

  4. 04

Write findings in plain English: what failed, what to change, who will do it

  5. 05

Support the return-to-work plan so the injured person is not left in limbo

Why this matters

Some incidents must be notified to the regulator. Missing that step creates a second problem on top of the first.

A sloppy investigation teaches the business nothing and can make the next claim harder.

People remember how they were treated after they were hurt. That is culture, not paperwork.

Questions about incident and injury support

Can you tell me if I have to notify the regulator?

We can help you work through whether an event is likely to be notifiable and what to do next. Notification rules sit in Australian WHS law and differ by the type of event. If you are unsure, ask early — do not wait for the paperwork to feel tidy.

Do you attend site after an incident?

Where it helps and can be arranged, yes. Some investigations can start with a call and photos. A serious event is better walked in person.

Will you take over the whole response?

We can guide as much of the process as you need. You remain the duty holder. Our job is to help you respond correctly, document it, and fix what the incident exposed.

Is this legal representation?

No. This is workplace safety support — notification guidance, investigation and return-to-work help. If you need a lawyer, we will say so rather than pretend a safety consultant is a substitute.
